Tapestry of Grace

by Nancy Williams
(St. Louis, MO)

Tapestry of Grace is a Christian classical history/literature curriculum. It is based on a four- year plan, which can be repeated twice as your children get older.

I started using it when my children were in 3th grade, and I wouldn't recommend starting it any earlier than that. There is a colossal amount of material included with this curriculum, so you do need to pick and choose. It also requires a fair amount of work for the teacher.

You will need to request books from the library or purchase them, preread the teacher's guide, and prepare any hands on activities. We found it enjoyable to do this curriculum as a co-op.

Even though this was time intensive, I thought the material was fascinating. The Christian world-view was woven into the material.
