Husband public school eductor

If I saw correctly, your husband teaches in a public school. My husband is a special education teacher in the public school system. I have always wanted to homeschool and he is very supportive. To me, homeschooling seems to be unsupportive of my husband's career in this situation.
Do you have any thoughts or advice for us?

That is a great question! My husband is a special ed teacher too. The way I look at it, each family has to answer for their own decisions for educating their children. If homeschooling is better for your children and you feel that God has called you to homeschooling, then that is the best choice.

I think my husband had some people question our family decision to homeschool in the past, but now there are so many people homeschooling and so many issues in the school that most people understand why some people choose to homeschool.

I understand your question and realize that it is a tough decision, but don't let peer pressure determine what you decide to do with your children. I would pray about it and ask for a clear answer from God and I know He will show you the way.
