Homeschool Transcripts for Transfer

What documents are required to transfer a home schooled kid to a private school?

My Comments: That all depends on your state, the age of the child, and the requirements of the private school. You can check your state homeschool laws and also check with the school where you want to send your child. They should be able to tell you what you need to do for them.

In Ohio you would just need to have a certified teacher look over their work and sign a form for the year. If you want to make a more complete high school transcript, you can use a program at homeschool transcripts (at the bottom of the page there) that will give you a guide of how to make out a transcript.

I hope that helps. Let me know if you have any other questions or need any more information.
